Lock Repairs

I am a YALE Doormaster™ registered locksmith, so you can trust me to fix all your uPVC and composite door lock problems and advise on the right options to suit your needs and your budget.

It could be realignments, replacing a part, like the gearbox unit, or installing a new multipoint door locking system.

Whatever the issue is with your door, I’ve seen it all over the years and I’m confident I’ll be able to help.

Upgrading your locks

I can upgrade your existing multipoint locks or cylinders.

There are also options for you to upgrade your door handles and prevent cylinder snapping – the ERA lockguard lift lock handles are a perfect choice for this kind of upgrade.

Key Safe

A coded, wall mounted mini key safe unit is the perfect solution for maintaining access to your property, whilst minimising the chances of keys getting lost or ending up in the wrong hands.

You can make sure a key, or several keys, are always stored in there, ready to be used by your children, workmen, cleaners or care workers.

And, of course, you can change the code whenever you need to, to keep your access secure.

Restoration work

There are many manor houses and other old properties with beautiful old doors that need saving as they can’t be replaced.

It is hugely rewarding to extend the life of these doors and locks with careful restoration, and very satisfying to see the results.

New keys for your new home

Did you change the locks when you moved in?

If not, you will have no idea who else may have a key to enter your property. Quite an alarming thought.

By not changing the locks, you are also likely to be invalidating your home insurance policy as you can’t prove you are the only person with access to your property.

If the worst happens and you need to make a claim with your insurance company, getting that claim rejected would be the last thing you need, let alone being a potentially huge financial loss.
